About the Artist
Professional Artistic Journey
Anita Jantz has been creating watercolor and pastel paintings professionally since 1989. She fell in love with the beautiful transparent hues that create dynamic and colorful florals, landscapes, and items in nature.
She has completed workshops with nationally known and local established artists, Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch.
She has shown her work in numerous shows and has won awards locally and nationally.
Her body of work has been displayed in galleries in Louisville and Longmont for the last decade. She has received numerous commissions, and her art can be found in private collections. She also teaches watercolor painting classes and private lessons in her studio.

“I paint what excites me, most often found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere and enhance them in my paintings so viewers see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent life’s fragile, fleeting moments, offering a fresh visual experience of nature’s beauty.”
