Professional Background
Anita Jantz has been creating watercolor and pastel paintings professionally since 1989, embracing the luminous transparency of color to bring florals, landscapes, and natural subjects to life. She has refined her technique through workshops with renowned artists Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch, integrating classic methods with her own expressive use of hue and light. Over the years, Anita has shown her work in numerous juried and invitational shows and has earned awards at both the local and national levels. For the past decade, her paintings have been displayed in galleries in Louisville and Longmont, Colorado. Her art resides in private collections, and she regularly completes commissioned pieces tailored to clients’ spaces and stories. In addition to her studio practice, Anita shares her expertise by teaching watercolor painting through group classes and private lessons.
