About the Artist
Anita Jantz, Fine Artist
Anita Jantz has created professional watercolor and pastel works since 1989. Drawn to transparent color, she crafts vibrant florals, landscapes, and nature studies.
She has trained through workshops with nationally recognized and established artists Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch.
Her work has appeared in numerous juried shows, earning awards locally and nationally.
For the past decade, her pieces have been featured in galleries in Louisville and Longmont. She has completed many commissions, with works held in private collections. Anita also teaches watercolor—offering classes and private lessons in her studio.
Artist's statement:
“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
