Discover Anita’s Artistic Journey
Since 1989, Anita Jantz has crafted vibrant watercolor and pastel paintings inspired by nature—from florals to landscapes. She trained with celebrated artists Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch, has earned local and national awards, and exhibits her work in regional galleries, including venues in Louisville and Longmont over the last decade. Her portfolio includes numerous commissions, and her art is held in private collections.
In her Longmont studio, she also offers private and group painting lessons, sharing her passion for transparent color and artistic technique.

Artist’s Creative Statement Revealed
“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
