She studied with notable artists Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch, exhibited in galleries throughout Louisville and Longmont, and won both local and national awards. Her work is held in private collections, and she offers studio classes and private lessons.

“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
