About Anita Jantz
Biography
Professional Journey
Anita Jantz has been creating watercolor and pastel paintings professionally since 1989. She fell in love with the beautiful transparent hues that create dynamic and colorful florals, landscapes, and items in nature.
She has completed workshops with nationally known and local established artists Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch. Her work has been exhibited in numerous shows, earning awards both locally and nationally. For the past decade, her paintings have been displayed in galleries throughout Louisville and Longmont, and she continues to receive commissions while teaching classes and private lessons from her studio.

“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
