A Legacy of Artistry Since 1989
Anita Jantz has been creating watercolor and pastel paintings professionally since 1989. She fell in love with the beautiful transparent hues that create dynamic and colorful florals, landscapes, and items in nature.
She has completed workshops with nationally known and local established artists, Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch.
She has shown her work in numerous exhibitions and has earned awards at both local and national levels.
Over the past decade, her paintings have been displayed in galleries in Louisville and Longmont, Colorado.
Her portfolio includes numerous commissioned pieces, and her work resides in private collections.
In addition to creating new work, Anita teaches watercolor through private lessons and occasional small-group workshops in her studio.

Artist's Statement
“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
