About the Artist
Professional Watercolor Journey
Anita Jantz has been creating watercolor and pastel paintings professionally since 1989, embracing transparent hues that bring florals and landscapes to life. She honed her craft under artists Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch, and now shares her passion through classes and private lessons in her studio.
She has shown her work in numerous shows and has won awards locally and nationally. Her paintings have been displayed in galleries in Louisville and Longmont for the last decade, and her art appears in private collections and commission pieces.

Artist’s Statement: Inspired by Nature
“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
