Professional Watercolor and Pastel Artist
Anita Jantz has been creating watercolor and pastel paintings professionally since 1989. She fell in love with transparent hues that bring dynamic, colorful florals, landscapes, and natural subjects to life.
Her work has appeared in galleries across Louisville and Longmont, earned awards at local and national levels, and is held in private collections. In addition to commissions, Anita offers personalized watercolor and pastel lessons in her studio.

“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
