About Anita Jantz
Since 1989, Anita Jantz has created vibrant watercolor and pastel works inspired by nature’s transparent hues. For the last decade her art has appeared in galleries in Louisville and Longmont. She teaches watercolor classes and private lessons, accepts commissions, and her pieces are held in private collections. She completed workshops with Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch, and has received awards locally and nationally.

“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life which are fragile and fleeting.”
