About Anita Jantz, Fine Artist
Since 1989, Anita Jantz has created professional watercolor and pastel works, drawn to transparent hues that bring florals, landscapes, and natural subjects to life.
She has trained through workshops with nationally recognized and local artists, including Terry Madden, Tony Couch, and Tom Lynch.
Her work has appeared in numerous shows with awards at local and national levels.
For the last decade, her paintings have been featured in galleries in Louisville and Longmont. She has completed many commissions, and her art is held in private collections. Anita also teaches watercolor classes and private lessons in her studio.
Artist’s Statement
“I paint what excites me, which is usually found in nature. I see colors abounding everywhere, and I enhance these colors in my paintings for the viewers to see what I see. I strive to record and make permanent those things in life, which are fragile and fleeting. I hope to give the viewer a new visual experience of what nature has to offer.”
